Afterschool & Tutoring Program
Teragi Academy afterschool program is all about building a foundation for growth and success in life for young, high-potential students. Our tutors ensure that the students are on top of their school curriculum. With a student/tutor target ratio of 7/1 or better, students get the attention and assistance they need to complete school assignments and brush up on concepts and lessons. Then, they can participate in various enrichment activities including arts & crafts, mat games, and book reading. Our tutors can teach students the following subjects:
- English
- Korean
- Math
- Science
- History
- Art
Students have the option to enroll in our Jiu Jitsu program, that balance training and fun. Jiu Jitsu is a highly effective and wonderful martial art that emphasizes fundamental character traits of respect, discipline, and community.

- Standard afterschool hours: 3:00pm - 6pm. Early dismissal days: 12pm - 6pm.
Credentials
In the classroom or on the mats, we are educators with credentials. What makes us uniquely qualified to provide an excellent environment for learning, growth, and success? Our principles have successful careers in healthcare, finance, and information technology. Our leaders are graduates of various elite programs (including master's degrees) from UC Berkeley, UCLA, USC, San Diego State and have served in the United States Army and the Airforce. We hire compassionate staff members with the appropriate credentials, including experienced elementary school teachers. But most importantly, we are parents to 4 children who are scholar athletes, embodying physical fitness and academic excellence.
We offer pickup service to select elementary and junior high schools in the Fullerton school district.
